Our first PTA meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 22nd at 6:00 PM. Please join us in the cafeteria to approve the budget for the new year and to learn more about becoming involved with your children's enrichment at Alta Vista.

Mr. Taranto rewarded those with perfect attendance during testing week with a chance to slime him. One student from each class, plus four others who had Wildcat Wows from earlier in the semester. Since we did the sliming two years ago, you can now search for "Wildcat Slime" and in most cases you will find this article as the first result!

a Town Hall Meeting

at Parras Middle School
The event is free.
Redondo Beach Educational Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3)
corporation
run by volunteers
who share your passion to ensure that all our children get a great
education!

 We hit our goal of 100 families participating, but other schools have done better! Alta Vista is currently in 4th place and we could still lose ground. Ask your neighbors, friends, family, and local businesses if they can help out. Just $25 can earn us hundreds or thousands for Alta Vista, and really help out the RBEF which is the main fuindraising organization for education in Redondo Beach.
The final pick up of checks at the schools is FRIDAY morning, April 2nd! They do verify schools to credit!

and a box will open where they can designate their school of choice!! |
