Now is the time to help our Redondo Beach schools and earn Alta Vista PTA $3,000 at the same time. The Redondo Beach Education Foundation is holding their "Club 360" drive, and the school with the greatest percentage participation by April 1st will earn $3,000 for their PTA. Second place is $2,000, Third is $1,000, and fourth is $750. But we don't want anything but first place for Alta Vista! The RBEF pays for everything from Music to Robotics programs, and can do a lot more with your donations. The school district is facing a critical shortfall of funds next year, and they are looking to the community to stand up and help out. Donate $360 (just two dollars per school day) or spread it out with monthly donations of $30. Donations of at least $25 count toward school participation.  It's very easy to donate. Just go to the RBEF.org Web site and you will see the donation area in the upper right side of the page. Choose your donation level, and click the donate button. You can use a credit card or PayPal on the next screen (credit card link is the word "Continue" just above the credit card logos), and then you need to click on the "Please indicate which school or schools you
are donating for" text and enter Alta Vista. That's all there is to it.Look for flyers in your Thursday folders. There will be a donation envelope and you can mail in your check or put it into the RBEF mailbox in the school
office.
We are now 1/2 of the way to our goal for Alta Vista. Let's show those other schools how great it is to be a Wildcat!
