 The Alta Vista PTA has a budget of well close to $150,000 and our fundraising supports field trips, Hands on Art, the computer lab, Variety show, Education funds, Harvest Festival, and more. It takes hundreds of hours of volunteering from our members and chairpersons to accomplish all of this, and we need your help.
If you want to have a say in how we spend this money, please come to our meetings. Anyone may come to a meeting, and any member can vote. Our president's term is over this year, and we need a new president as well as other officers for next year. If you think you might be interested, talk to any PTA member for more information. Contact the PTA Board and we can give you all the details for any job as well as nominate you for a position. This site is here to enhance communication between the PTA and parents, and is maintained by volunteers. If you would like to help out, please attend a PTA meeting. They are the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 8:30 AM unless otherwise rescheduled. Check the calendar for updates.
